Deadline Date:26 Feb, 2020 About RADF: The Rawabi Al-Nahda Developmental Foundation (RADF) is a non-governmental, voluntary, independent organization established in November 27th 2011, officially registered at the Ministry of Social Affairs as per license (579). As RADF has been present in Yemen since 2011, it has experience implementing emergency child protection and Health, Education and Shelter responses, including women and youth empowerment. RADF has experience in handling large grants from international donors, such as UNDP, UNHCR, OCHA, FAO, IMO, the Humanitarian Forum Yemen, PartnerAid and Partners Yemen. The Foundation has excellent national-level relations and has experience in coordination with both national and international NGOs. It has offices, staff and community based committees in Hajjah, Sana'a, and Huddeidah, as well as solid experiences engaging with local communities from whom it gained acceptance and with whom it has collaborated in the past. In addition to that, RADF creates livelihood opportunities and community based protection committees. Last but not least, the foundation is mainly focused on Sustainable Development Goals and Humanitarian Response. JOB PURPOSE: We are looking for a competent Admin Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations. The ideal candidate should be a hard-working individual able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as finding effective ways to achieve better results. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES •Admin Assistant is accountable for fulfilling his or her roles and responsibilities in line with Organization’s values and principles of fairness, humanity, honesty, respect and fair treatment of his/her colleagues and staff. oDetailed Duties & Responsibilities oResponsible of incoming and outgoing Telecom oResponsible of archiving incoming and outgoing documents oResponsible of archiving all the documents of the IDPs Community Center and RADF oArrange Workshops and Training of the staff oArrange meetings and prepare meeting hall and writing the minutes of the meetings oReceiving visitors and guide them to the persons they want to visit them. otranslation of documents (English) when it's required. oSending & Receiving documents to/from office. oCarry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, archiving, scanning etc. oFollowing up the incoming and outgoing correspondence records on a daily basis. oFollowing up the incoming and outgoing emails and sending them to the persons of concern. oAny other tasks assigned to him by the CC coordinator and project manager PERSON SPECIFICATION A) EDUCATION/TRAINING : Required: University degree B) EXPERIENCE :Required •3 years of relevant professional work experience. •Excellent organizational and communication skills and teamwork-oriented. •Excellent analytical, problem solving and organization skills. •Good in written and verbal English and Arabic is required. •Good in standard Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook) and typing. •Ability to travel as required within Yemen. •Ability to work under pressure and manage personal stress levels. E) WORKING CONDITIONS AND LEVEL OF TRAVEL REQUIRED This position is located in Sana'a - Yemen requires 100% attending in the main office and helping the employees to finish their job completely and remote the sub offices.
