About RADF: The RawabiAl-Nahda Developmental Foundation (RADF) is a non-governmental, voluntary,independent organization established in November 27th 2011, officially registered at the Ministryof Social Affairs as per license (579). As RADF has been present inYemen since 2011, it has experience implementing emergency child protection andHealth, Education and Shelter responses, including women and youth empowerment.RADF has experience in handling large grants from international donors, suchas UNDP, UNHCR, OCHA, FAO, IMO,the Humanitarian Forum Yemen, PartnerAid and Partners Yemen.The Foundation has excellent national-level relations and has experience incoordination with both national and international NGOs. It has offices, staffand community based committees in Hajjah, Sana'a, and Hodeida, as well as solidexperiences engaging with local communities from whom it gained acceptance andwith whom it has collaborated in the past. In addition to that, RADF createslivelihood opportunities and community based protection committees. Last butnot least, the foundation is mainly focused on Sustainable Development Goalsand Humanitarian Response. JOBSUMMARY The ProtectionMonitor is in charge of carrying out protection monitoring activities athousehold and at community level in all governorates of intervention. Theprotection needs of the population will be monitored through HHs interviews,using smart tools, in order to collect specific data based on UNHCR in-depthProtection Monitoring Tool form. The PM will also carry out key informantinterviews and FGDs in the community and contribute to the identification ofdisplacement patterns and protection risks. Responsibilities · ConductDaily Field Visits to villages, urban areas, and informal settlements tomonitor Protection Monitors’ activities and meet with key informants andpersons of concern within the community. · Utilizesmart tools for data collection and make sure data is precise, complete andtimely uploaded on KoBo platform. · Providemonthly inputs and figures to the Protection Monitoring Coordinator to beincluded in the monthly progress report. · Providemonthly accurate data to the Protection Monitoring reports to be shared withthe donor and relevant stakeholders, after revision and approval of the ProjectManager. · Provideguidance to the outreach volunteers. · Createawareness over the hotline services, especially when conducting identificationexercise for cash-based interventions. · Workto strengthen RADF and donor relationship with IDPs, host community leaders andmunicipal actors in order to maintain good access to PoC. · Conductrapid assessments of newly displaced persons in specific locations upon requestof the Project Manager and under the supervision of the Protection MonitoringCoordinator. · IdentifyPwSNs and other vulnerable HHs, responding to a set of established criteria, tobe enrolled in the cash distribution program. · Provideweekly beneficiaries lists for cash assistance to the Activity Coordinator andensure all cash requests are properly filled. Requirements: · BAin social sciences or related Field. · Relevantprofessional experience of not less than 2 years in similar positions. · Priorexperience in working and/or coordinating with other international humanitarianorganizations. · Priorexperience with persons of concern (women at risk, people with disabilities,etc.). · Familiaritywith smart data collection tools. · Familiaritywith Cash Transfer Programming and beneficiaries identification would be anasset. · Goodknowledge of protection concepts and principles. · NativeArabic – Good written and spoken English would be an asset. · Computer/ITliteracy (Windows, Office, Internet etc.) · Excellentanalysis and report writing. · Strongcommunication.
